A cop from the Gainesville Police Department responded to a noise complaint in the best way possible last week. The complaints were being made about kids playing basketball in the street, and instead of telling them to be quiet or leave, the policeman, Bobby White, joined them.
As he was leaving, White told the kids that he would “bring back up” so they could get a real game going next time. He definitely followed up on his word. According to local news station News4JAX, Shaquille O’Neal saw the story about White hooping with the kids and wanted to meet the officer, as well as join a pickup game.
The result was exactly what you’d expect: a ton of fun.
Shaq was laughing along with everyone else. He even took one kid one-one-one.
